THE PRINTMAKER’S HAND IV: entry DEADLINE EXTENDED to APRIL 17th
An opportunity for all printmaker resident in WA, OR, ID, MT, AK, HI, or CA. The Printmaker’s Hand is a juried show of fine, hand-pulled prints by contemporary printmakers, sponsored by Corvidae Press. Showcasing both traditional and new approaches to techniques such as etching, drypoint, monoprint, lithograph, collagraph and others, this show will be juried by Bob Kochs of Augen Gallery in Portland, OR, a premier venue for fine printmaking since the 1970’s.

Corvidae Press is a non-profit printmaker’s cooperative that maintains a non-toxic print studio in partnership with Centrum, a regional arts organization. Corvidae Press supports print artists through membership and community education about printmaking.
Only hand-pulled prints will be accepted. Works may combine traditional printmaking techniques with digital or other media. Entries must be original, entirely the work of the artist, and executed in the past 3 years without the supervision of an instructor. Entries must not be copies, derivatives or based on other copyrighted or published prints. No giclee prints will be accepted. Artist must be a resident of WA, OR, ID, MT, AK, HI, or CA
Awards: a total of $1250 in awards will be selected
Fees: a non-refundable entry fee of $45 is required for up to a maximum of 3 entries.
