The Convention Center is open daily from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
This exhibition of the work of about 50 regional print artists is sponsored by PAN (Print Arts Northwest) and will be on view from April 2-June 25, 2008.
The work is exhibited in the galleries on the 2nd floor.

Celebrate Spring at Gallery by the Bay
This month we’re featuring colorful paintings by
Andrea Lawson from her “Rite of Spring” series.
Andrea Lawson’s colorful paintings and pastels are
inspired by the images and dances from the ballet
“The Rite of Spring” (or Le Sacre du Printemps,
as it is called in French.)
Her succulent paintings feature abstracted
shapes and expressionist forms of dancers leaping
through nature. “I love to move paint in vibrant
gestures across the canvas,” says Lawson,
“I create voluptuous layers inspired by dance and
the lines and forms of the human body.”
